Apart from her love of pole dancing Neelam is also a classically (Bharatnatayam) trained dancer. She fell in love with pole dancing in 2011 and has since pursued this art. She has competed and placed in APC. She is a mom, a pole dancer and loves to run and play volleyball.

Ryan Mcgrath

Ryan Mcgrath is a certified personal trainer and a nutrition coach. She found pole in 2008 and was instantly hooked and started taking classes every week. Ryan fell in love with the fitness aspect of pole dance but has since fell in love with the sexy side. She has been a pole instructor since 2012

Jenna Stadler

Jenna has always enjoyed staying active but did not meet her true fitness love until she found pole dancing. She started pole dancing about 5 years ago and was thrilled by it from the beginning. Since then, has had some amazing training opportunities with both local and national pole superstars. She has competed and placed at various PSO competitions. Her favorite approach to pole dancing is a lyrical flow infused with cool tricks. She is a big believer in building strength and the foundations that make a good pole dancer. Jenna loves being part of pole community and truly enjoy helping others find their personal style and improve their pole game.

Evangie Vo

Evangeline has been pole dancing for 5 years and has been teaching pole dancing since the beginning of 2017. After having her baby in March 2016, she competed in USPDF’s Artistic Novice division in April 2017 as a way to push herself to regain back the strength and flexibility she had lost due to pregnancy. She’s excited to continue her pole journey, now feeling stronger than before her pregnancy. She is even more excited to be provided the opportunity to help others with their pole journey as well!

She strives to continuously advance her knowledge in pole dancing through workshops, training at a variety of studios, as well as online training. She has taken workshops with many top pole performers such as Olga Koda, Carly Child, Sergia Louise, Carlie Hunter, Charlie Wagner, Mary Kolacinski, Elena Anisxhenko, and Rachele Ribera. She’s also trained at many pole studios down the East and West coast.

Tara (who we lovingly refer to as our “petite powerhouse”!) has performed on stage since the age of seven. She believed that nothing was as thrilling as theatre and musical theatre until 2006, when she began pole dancing! It was in this environment that she discovered yet another way to express herself, this time with exercise combining skill, talent and artistic intent. Tara has been a certified pole dancing instructor in Northern Virginia since 2007. She was a top 12 finalist for the 2009 USPDF East Coast Regional Competition. She continues to train in dance and can be seen every so often in stage productions and independent films. Tara is excited to share her passion for pole dance fitness with the ladies of Aradia!


When she is not sharing her love of all things pole, Tara spends her free time chasing after her adorable little boy.

Nan Chen

A research scientist by profession and a monkey by birth.  

Nan discovered pole fitness in 2015 and immediately fell in love with it.   She competed in her first pole competition at 2017 APC and placed 3rd (Level2 dramatic).  She has since taken her practice further and studied under   Marlo Fisken, Anna Alverez, Kenneth Kao, Claudia Renee and various other teachers.

Learning is one of the most important things for Nan, so is sharing.  She has taught undergraduate courses extensively at USC, with multiple teaching awards; she  enjoys teaching yoga; and is really looking forward  to share the pole knowledge as well.

Karen Conn

Liquid Motion and Cleo RLNA instructor

Karen fell in love with dance fitness in March of 2013 when she took her first pole and floor/chair class.  She was instantly hooked and has attended 8 classes a week since then. In September 2013, while attending the 2nd Annual Pole Expo in Las Vegas, she discovered Jeni Janover’s Liquid Motion. Karen has actively participated in multiple Liquid Motion 1 and Liquid Motion 2 workshops every year at Pole Expo in addition to studying locally at pole studios in Annapolis and Virginia. Karen became a certified Liquid Motion instructor in January of 2016.


Karen has always put a priority on diet, health, and fitness. She has studied kettle bells since 2009 and trained remotely with Lauren Brooks, a highly regarded master instructor from San Diego. She cross trains regularly; using free weights and kettle bells to improve her strength and conditioning for dance and pole fitness.


She is a former trauma nurse, mother of three, and recently received her bartender’s license from the Maryland Bartending Academy. Outside of pole, her hobbies include cooking, entertainment, mixology, and spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends. She has two horses (Poet and Onyx), two cats (Silverbell and Athena), and one adorable kitten named Cleo the Hurricane; a nod to one of her pole idols.
